High Quality Basalt Mine In Armenia
“Artsate Syun” LLC is a basalt mining company operating in Goghovit village of Shirak Province the Republic of Armenia. The mine has been exploited since 1980 and since 2019 it has been exploited by “Artsate Syun”.The reserves of the mine are about 2 million m³.Mine productivity can reach up to 400m³ per day. The basalt from this mine has been evaluated, has undergone various lab analyses and its quality meets international high quality standards. Thanks to a great work performed by our team and modern and powerful construction equipment, we can provide our customers with the highest qualityraw material in the quantity required. Goghovit basalt has all the prerequisites to appear in the international market.The company is going to have its own stone mill, processing plant and foundry in the nearest future. The company plans also to begin producing basalt products.The company “Artsate Syun” is ready to consider all types of business proposalsand cooperate with international investors.

The mine is located in Shirak province,3.5 km west of Toros village and 1.3 km north of Goghovit village. It is 2 km far from North-South roadand 24 km far from Bavra checkpoint.

Basalt products
Curb
It is usually used todelimit the sidewalks, our basalt curbsare distinguished by their strength, high frost resistance and low water absorption.
Gravel
Basalt gravel, sand and dust are mainly used in concrete, asphalt pavements and also during road and drainage system constructions and for other purposes.
Facing tiles
Can be used in interior and exterior decoration of structures. Basalt facing tiles are distinguished by their strength, high heat resistance, high frost resistance and low water absorption.
Basalt railings
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Basalt railings are durable, resistant to temperature changes, atmospheric precipitation and environmental influences. Our basalt is used also to make window sills, tabletops and other decorative items.
Basalt rebar
Basalt rebars are an alternative solution and can replace traditional iron rebars. Basalt rebars have a lighter weight, which significantly lightens the weight of the structures and reduces the working time. Basalt rebars are also very strong and flexible and don’t corrode.
Basalt mesh
Basalt mesh can replace iron wire mesh in solving various construction problems. Basalt mesh is lighter, has less thermal conductivity than iron, doesn’t corrode and is more suitable for construction works.
Basalt wool

Basalt fabric is used to produce various textile products that can provide good thermal insulation and high fire resistance up to 1000 ° C. They don’t decay and are resistant to fungal attack and the effects of chemical active substances. They can absorb many types of radiation, which allows the use of basalt fabric in nuclear and thermal power plants.
